Now I know a big puffer with corals is a no no, but a 2-3 " puffer for short period..anyone think it will start eating my Zoas? I have plenty of silversides and shrimp to feed it. Also, will it attack my tangs and fish (similar) in size. My experience has been no, but I want to house it in my 180 until the 220 FOWLR is up.If it will be destructive then I will set up the 20 gallon to house him.

If I recall correctly, they are generally pretty easy to catch. So you could give it a try. What about putting a little leash on it.

I've have had a couple of small puffer fish and they did not bother my zoa's but I would suspect it depends on the type of puffer you have. Not much help, I know! Norman

Just to up date the puffer is leaving the corals alone. We finally got him to eat and he is just fine. I actually hand fed him some Krill. He is soooo ugly he is cute!!!!!
