            <title>Subject: Acronym Database - by: INeedABiggerTank</title>
            <link>http://mtrc.org/forums/3-suggestion-box/926-acronym-database#926</link>
            <description>I think it would be really helpful (especially to new members/those new to the hobby) to have a &quot;master&quot; list of acronyms/abbreviations posted somewhere on the MTRC forums here. This woulsn't be a thread where people could post, but rather members would send a PM to whoever when new items need to be added.

I am constantly having to ask seemingly stupid questions and/or doing google searches just to figure out what people are talking about.

It might look something like:

 GENERAL TERMS
LFS = Local Fish Store
FS = For Sale
FT = For Trade

 MIDDLE TENNESSEE FISH STORES
AC = Aquatic Critter
Critter = Aquatic Critter
BRD = Barrier Reef Depot
EBAY = Emerald Bay Fish
EBF = Emerald Bay Fish

 ONLINE STORES
BRS = Bulk Reef Supply
FS = Foster and Smith

 CORAL TERMINOLOGY
SPS = small polyp stony coral
LPS = large polyp stony coral

Obviously, this is just a very small start... Just a thought. Thanks,
